GFX Tool Pro

If your phone feels heavy when running HD games like PUBG, Mobile Legends, or others. Use GFX Tool Pro.

What is GFX Tool?

With this tool, players can make higher graphic settings. In addition, the desired resolution can also be set (except UltraHD on most smartphones).

Another unique thing is that we can choose to use Vulkan instead of OpenGL ES 3.

Vulkan itself was allegedly able to improve game performance. That’s because Vulkan immediately gave commands to the GPU.

In addition, latency on the Vulkan API is also smaller so it is more quickly accessed. To be able to play with better graphics, just download one of the two applications.

As an illustration, we will use GFX Tool to play with PUBG Mobile version 0.6.

How to use the GFX Tool

To be able to use it, you must understand the function of each of the options in the GFX Tool, along with the explanation:

Select Version
Select the version of PUBG that is on your Android smartphone.

Resolution
Desired Resolution. The smaller, of course, makes GPU performance better. If your smartphone has bad specifications, choose the lowest.

Graphics
Whether or not graphics in the PUBG game is determined by this one choice. Choose So Smooth if you use a smartphone with low specifications.

And choose HDR if your smartphone has high specifications. Remember that the higher the choice, the lower the frame rate.

FPS
Determine the highest frame rate. Even so, choosing 60 FPS doesn’t always allow you to play at this frame rate.

Anti-Aliasing
This option will make all the curves in the PUBG Mobile graphics smoother. Of course, this will affect the frame rate.

Style
This option will adjust the color and saturation when playing games. This choice has no effect on GPU performance.

Shadows
Shadows in PUBG games often provide benefits. However, removing the shadow means reducing the GPU load which results in a higher frame rate.

Graphics API
Select the desired API. On new smartphones that already use Android Nougat, there’s no harm in trying to use Vulkan.

For smartphones released two years ago, choose the same as OpenGL ES 3.1. The rest, please choose OpenGL ES 2.0.

After finishing settings, just click Apply / Apply, and run your game. If you see it later in the settings menu, the settings that must be used in the application are selected automatically.
